Dragonfly Aikikai are a friendly club with a loyal following and we always extend a warm welcome to visitors from other clubs, new members and people who are simply curious about Aikido.

Club Information

Dojo - St Thomas More Primary School, Huthill Lane, Great Wyrley, (Near Cannock) Staffordshire, WS6 6PG.

Note:- access is via huthill lane. Once inside the school gates follow the road to the carpark. The Dojo is inside the main school building to the right of the carpark entrance. Please use the door adjacent to the playing field.

Cost

 • Juniors (8 - 13 Years) - £2.50 per lesson

• Intermediates (14 - 17 Years) - £3.00 per lesson

• Seniors (18 Years+) - £3.00 per lesson

Membership costs £15.00 per year which includes insurance

Times of practice

Monday

• Juniors: 7.00pm - 8.00pm

• Intermediates & Seniors: 8.00pm - 10.00pm

Wednesday

• Juniors: 7.00pm - 8.00pm • Intermediates & Seniors: 8.00pm - 10.00pm

Clothing

It is not necessary to buy a GI (traditional training uniform) until you have tried the art and are sure that you like it. It is acceptable, up to and including your first grading, to wear loose fitting clothing (ideally training clothing) with no sharp edges or zips that may cause injury.
